Cleared Garden

Well after lots of hard work we can finally see the whole garden and it's great! Next task is to fell a couple of sycamores to give us some more light for growing veg. Then to cultivate the ground ready for covering over the winter to try and get rid of all those pesky brambles. Not to mention getting the fences up.....

It's a Kids thing

This is a great place in Earlsfield with a fab ball pit and lots of climbing fun for the children. I took the children for an afternoon along with my NCT Group and despite some crying-to be expected! most of the children had a fun time and enjoyed playing on the bouncy cushions and wading through the balls. The mums and childminders present enjoyed some tea and cake of course!

When will it be ready!?

A certain little girl already loves her garden and loves being wheeled around in the wheelbarrow by mummy or daddy and watching the cats and squirrels. It's a slow process when we work full time and only have weekends now the evenings are dark but we are aiming to have a garden to play in by the springtime. We've already got the beds in ready to start growing some yummy veg to eat!

The work commences...

Luckily our daughter is really happy playing while we get stuck into some serious garden clearing. She is of course in charge of the new garden as it will become hers and all her friends favourite place to explore without doubt!
